Cowl - Water Leaks/Wind Whistle/Wind Noise

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Water may enter the passenger compartment through the cowl area and cause wet carpets in the driver's or passenger's front foot well. Wind whistle or wind noise may be present in the cowl/windshield wiper area.

DIAGNOSIS:

If customer complaints are received as described above, perform the Repair Procedure.

PARTS REQUIRED:

1    82300234       RTV Sealant

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This bulletin involves sealing the inner cowl seam.

3.	Clean the area and apply RTV sealer to the entire length of the seam as shown.
4.	Install the cowl screen.
5.	Install the wiper arms.

POLICY: Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
