DISCUSSION:

The vehicles listed above are equipped with programmable electronic features. The features are listed on the chart, which describes the status of the features when the vehicle is shipped. Programming these features is to be performed prior to delivery, depending on customer preference. For all vehicles except Caravan, Voyager and Town and Country, the programming must be performed using the DRB III scan tool. The Caravan, Voyager and Town and Country can be programmed with the DRB III or via button pushing sequences and can be programmed by the customer following the instructions outlined in the Owners Manual.

The features will need to be explained to the customers at the time of sale, and the customers preferences will have to be noted and programmed at Pre-Delivery. The 1996 New Vehicle Preparation Time Allowance has been reviewed and adjusted if necessary to include the programming.
